John Paananen thought about giving the traditional tipi a modern twist and created this Suburban Tipi Design. Its origins come from living the typical nomadic existence. The interior was made following the same idea and incorporates panels, carpets and a plastic laminated floor. The innovation of this new type of housing is that it combines features not only found in tipis, but also in igloos and yurts.
